The historical and literary exile magazine al-Majalla as-Suriya (Arabic: المجلة السورية; DMG: al-Maǧalla as-Sūriyā; "The Syrian Magazine") was published monthly in Cairo between 1926 and 1929 in a total of 34 issues. It was founded by the priest Bulus Qarali and was, as Thomas Philipp mentioned, "probably the last specifically Syrian attempt to start a new periodical in Egypt". Read more in Wikipedia
